Taylor Painter

    • First tell us a little about your self…

My name is Taylor Painter, I’m 18 years old and I have been riding for about
        13 years now.

    • When did you start riding?

I started riding off and on just for fun when I was about five years old until, 2001 when I began racing full time.

    • What did you start riding on?

My dad bought me a PW50 for Christmas

    • What’s your fav. Track?

It’s probably a tie between Red Bud and Gatorback.

    • Nationals are coming up, how are you traing?

I train with Chaz Holladay twice a week at his house in Weatherford, he has a personal trainer that comes out and works with us on our core
body  strength. I’m also in the gym over by my house 2-3 days a week working on muscle building with my trainer. I just try to keep that up
and ride at least 5 days a week.

    • What are your goals for the Year?

Well right now I’m just trying to prepare myself as much as possible so that I can go into the bigger races with more confidence than I have in
the past. I plan on racing 3-4 rounds of the east coast supercrosses and then go from there and run the Canadian Nationals. As of goals, I
just want to better myself as a rider and try to land a ride for next year.

    • Do you see your self involved in other projects such as TV, Movies, Music,
        Ect… In The Feature?

Not really any time soon, but I have played the drums since I was 12 years old and hopefully someday I will have a little time to do something
with that. A few of my friends have been wanting to make a riding video, so maybe we’ll be doing that pretty soon.

    • Are there any other forms of racing you would like to try and why?

Road racing, I think that would be really fun, to try something new and just experience that level of speed through corners and just be able
to moto a corner  like that.

    • Has Freestyle ever appealed to you?

It did there for a little while, but I’m not into the BACK FLIP competition that it’s turned into. Those guys are insane and I give them mad
props either way but I just found it a little more interesting before the back flip took over the sport.

    • What do you like to do in your free time?

When I actually get a little time to be free I usually spend it with my girl friend or hang out and get a little pit bike riding in. Lately I really
haven’t had much free time so I kind of forgot how to just lay back and chill for a little bit.

    • Do you play any Motocross games?

        MX Unleashed all the way!!!!!!

    • If there’s one thing in Motocross you would like to change what would it
       be and why?

Probably the political side of it, I just wish people could ride and have a good time without all the non sense.

    • Is there any advice you would like to give out to?

Just to remind everybody to have a good time, motocross is actually supposed to be fun, so enjoy it and try to stay safe.

    • In closing is there anyone you would like to Thank?

Yea for sure, First off I would like to thank my dad for always pulling through when I need him, always being there for me and just sticking with it and pushing me. Mitch Milson at Granbury Motorsports, definitely wouldn’t be riding without him, Jason Walling with Utopia, John Mitchell-JM Racing, Cut N Edge Graphics, Answer, Bell helmets, Michelin, Vortex, Universal, FMF, SixSixOne, Wiseco, K&N Filters, One Industries, Maxima, Tom Jackson and just everyone that’s been helping me out and staying behind me, Thanks a lot!
