My name is Jason Smith I’m 30 years old and a full time computer geek for the State of Texas. I served in the U.S Coast Guard from 1993 – 1997. I’ve been married 11 years April 29th, 2006 and have a 7 year old boy named Alex.

Involved. I don’t think I’m really involved.

4 years ago I was just bored and I was just getting back into MX and wanted to learn something new so I picked up PHP and started running the phpBB forum software just to play with. When SDB closed their forums the 10 or so people that used my place for fun told everyone they knew and it’s been growing rapidly ever since.

From a riders point of view I’m not terribly qualified to say because I have never really raced. From a fans perspective I would say SX is the most exciting to watch.

None from pit bikes. Talk to Motocrossnut34 or H8_Red about those little pipes though. My worst battle scar from riding is from riding a Husaberg FC 470 out at McAfee on Fathers Day of 2004. I caught my back wheel on a double and it threw my front end down violently and pulled my shoulder out of the socket and got wedged between my ribs and the socket. I ended up having to have reconstructive surgery on my shoulder.. That left a bunch of scars.

I also have a scar from being stabbed while in the Coast Guard. That’s a long story.

There's a lot of things I would like to do but finding the time to do it is tough. I’m always open to suggestions so if anyone has any please e-mail me at Javo@mxcrazy.com

Hmmmmm, I guess Dallas SX would be the biggest. My best Dallas SX memories come from the early 90’s when they held it at the Cotton Bowl. Watching Damon Bradshaw and RJ go at it. That was awesome.

I would love to get a crack at a trophy truck. I think that would be a blast.

Well being a middle aged married guy and constantly on call I don’t have a lot but when I do I like to go on 50runs, play computer games or go to the lake and fish all day and not catch a thing.

I still play a lot of Motocross Madness 2 on my computer and I have almost every MX game available for the XBOX . I think Motocross Madness 2 is my favorite of all time though. Rainbow Studios did a great job when they made that one.

I would like to see things made safer. I know this is a dangerous sport and you can get hurt doing anything but it seems the severe injuries are coming far too frequently these days.  A track can still be made that’s very challenging and have some degree of safety in there just incase you come up short / long etc..

I would also like to see the over zealous parents that really force the sport down their kids necks just relax and let the kids enjoy the sport. Not every kid can / will or wants to be the next RC or MC.

I would like to thank the supporting members and companies that advertise on MXCrazy. Without them this wouldn’t be possible.
